Kota Kinabalu: Sabahan singer and songwriter, Rozella has made it to the Top 3 of Tiger Jams, a competition organised by Tiger Beer to discover unsigned artists from Malaysia. Joining her in the top are two other bands from the Peninsular, Son of a Policeman (SOAP) and Donamarie. All three acts managed to garner the highest amount of votes in the previous round of the competition.
Each of them will take home RM15,000 each to fund their musical projects. And they have also been paired with different acclaimed Asian acts and visuals artists to work on a new song and an upcoming concert.
Rozella will be collaborating with electro pop prince of Malaysia Darren Ashley, who is the producer of her current single 'Dark Side'. She will also be teaming up with light artist Flex who will be designing the visuals for her performance held next month.
She said, "It's been such an exciting experience and I'm really looking forward to creating new music and giving people a good show. I feel very blessed to have this opportunity and I couldn't have done it without my team and without the support of everyone."
