Kota Kinabalu, Sabah Thursday, 14th July 2016 - The Promenade Hotel Kota Kinabalu's team of Master Chefs led by award-winning Executive Chef H.K Cheong made history once again by preparing a 38kg Giant mooncake, which was officially launched by the hotel's General manager Mr Adrian Ng at the hotel's Lobby Lounge.

The launch marks the commencement of the selling of Promenade's very own Signature Mini Crystal Durian Mooncakes at RM3.00 per piece. "This and the whole range of Promenade's mooncakes are halal and with minimum preservatives. Therefore, it's best refrigerated. Besides selling our mooncakes here in Kota Kinabalu, we will also b making them available at Promenade Hotel Tawau and Promenade Hotel Bintulu" - Said Executive Chef

The launch was witnessed by Senior Citizens from the Senior Day Care Centre of Kota Kinabalu's widows welfare Association (SDCC-KKWWA) and friends from the media fraternity who later "followed the jade or Moon Rabbit - the companion of the Moon Goddess to Dynasty Restaurant' for a sumptuous launch and mooncake tasting. "We've specially invited aunties from SDCC-KKWWA whom we believe will appreciate Chinese Festive Gathering such as our Mooncake tasting today.
