Dinner In The Sky Malaysia is proud to announce that it will be making East Malaysia its next stop for the first time ever beginning 1st August 2017, after enjoying an immensely popular & SOLD OUT series of events in West Malaysia; at Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Johor respectively. Dinner In The Sky observes its safety measures to an utmost level. While seated guests will wear safety belts, standing presenter and crew are secured by safety harnesses all the time during the flight. A safety supervisor will brief patrons about all the safety regulations prior to the flight and will be in constant communication with the crane operator and ground crew for a smooth flight. The experience has been approved by TÜV SÜD, the German organization that validates the safety of products of all kinds to protect humans and the environment against hazards.

A RESTAURANT CASHIER TAKES HOME GRAND PRIZE IN "PERADUAN MAGGIE JOM MASAK & MENANG"




Key highlights:
* ‘Peraduan MAGGI® Jom Masak & Menang’ received a record of close to 220,000 contest submissions. 
* The contest was held in conjunction with Pesta Kaamatan.
* The Grand Prize winner won an ISUZU D-MAX (3.0L V-Cross AT) pickup truck while the first runners-up vouchers for SENHENG® electrical appliances worth up to RM5,000. 


The ‘Peraduan MAGGI® Jom Masak & Menang’ came to an exciting close after a restaurant cashier beat stiff competition in the finale to take home the Grand Prize of an ISUZU D-MAX (3.0L V-Cross AT) pickup truck. The contest, which was launched on May 1, received its highest submission record of close to 220,000 entries. 



The annual ‘Peraduan MAGGI® Jom Masak & Menang’ contest was organised in conjunction with the Pesta Kaamatan in line with MAGGI®’s continuous efforts to engage and reward individuals and families for their strong support over the years. 



This year’s finale at the 1Borneo Hypermall, Kota Kinabalu was graced by YB Datuk Hajah Jainab Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Ahmad Ayid, Minister of Community Development and Consumer Affairs Sabah. 



“The ‘Peraduan MAGGI® Jom Masak & Menang’ contest is our way of showing appreciation to our consumers for making MAGGI® part of their everyday special moments. Much like how the Pesta Kaamatan festival is a celebration of unity and thankfulness, we at MAGGI® are truly thankful for the strong support given to us all these years,” said Nestlé (Malaysia) Berhad, Sabah Branch Manager, Mr. Quek Teng Hiong.



At the finale, the two finalists underwent an intense final competition for the Grand Prize (ISUZU D-MAX). The competition tested their technical skills, on-the-spot agility as well as their knowledge on MAGGI® products.



Ms Siti Juwita Binti Anni from Kota Kinabalu, was announced as the Grand Prize winner. 
The 21-year-old cashier at a restaurant, said she was thrilled and happy as this was her first participation in the contest.



“I didn’t believe when I received the call,” she said adding that she was not expecting the call from MAGGI® to be listed as one of the finalists, she was blessed and expressed his gratitude to MAGGI® as well as his family and friends who came to support him.



“I really did things differently. Everyone came to win but I came prepared with strategies despite not knowing the challenges I’ll be facing. It was a close fight amongst us but luck was on my side and winning the ISUZU D-MAX definitely made my year. Thank You MAGGI®!” she said



The first runner-up placing went to Ms Ashma Asmah Binti Boyiat from Papar, walked away with RM5,000 SENHENG® vouchers. Weekly prizes of attractive electronic appliances and gadgets such as the 430L SHARP two-door refrigerators, 120GB branded tablets, SAMSUNG C9 Pro smartphones and 49-inch TOSHIBA SmartTV 4K UHD were also given out during the two-month long contest.



During the contest period, a total of seven roadshows were held in Sabah on a weekly basis, where visitors were able to participate in fun games that MAGGI® had prepared for families. Among the activities held during the three-day carnival were cooking demonstrations, and exciting giveaways for shoppers who purchased MAGGI® products. MAGGI® reached out to over 12000 Sabahan throughout its two month-long roadshow.

Celebrating pizza in all its shapes and sizes, the new campaign called “PizzArt” takes the enjoyment of pizza a notch up into an art form. Whether you’re a hard-core foodie or a discerning gourmand, these pizzas will deliver.

Together with 24 outlets in Peninsula and East Malaysia, Anchor Food Professionals has introduced artisanal pizzas that are taking the world by storm. Masterpieces such as Flower Pizzas, Pizza Bombs, Adjaruli Khachapuri, Mini Muffin Pizzas and Pot Pie Pizzas are waiting to be devoured at participating restaurants from May to mid-November 2017.

The pizzas can only be made by kitchen crew with advanced culinary skills, and in restaurants with pizza ovens. Chefs and assistants from participating restaurants were trained in the ways of a skilled pizzaiolo by Anchor Food Professional in preparation for the launch of the campaign. Through workshops they were taught specialized skills to create unusual pizzas such as the avant-garde Pizza Flower.

The recipes call for only the finest ingredients such as Anchor Mozzarella Shredded Cheese, Anchor Unsalted Butter, Anchor Colby Cheese, Anchor Cheddar Cheese, and Mainland Edam Cheese. Speaking at the unveiling of the PizzArt campaign in Kota Kinabalu, Ms Linda Tan, Director of Anchor Food Professionals Malaysia said that the new campaign will strike a chord with pizza-loving Malaysians.

She added that this is an example of innovative campaigns that Anchor Food Professionals has launched with their partners such as the highly successful Say Cheese Campaign which introduced Japanese-inspired cheese based desserts, and the second wave which introduced sweet breads infused with creams and cheese. The more recent French-inspired Travel Cakes (butter loaf cakes) made available at participating bakeries ended on a sweet note as well.

With the new launch of PizzArt, Anchor Food Professional hopes to trail blaze a ‘new age’ of pizzas in Malaysia. Pizza bombs which made an appearance in the international food scene is an explosion of flavour and cheesiness in a ball of chewy dough with a crispy crust. Adjaruli Khachapuri is a boat shaped pizza filled with hot cheese and oozing egg and is a Georgian invention, all the rage in food capitals of the world. Muffin pizzas are bite-sized versions of delicious pizza and perfect for breakfast and as snacks and pot pie pizzas are as hearty and satisfying as they sound with pizza dough used as a pie crust with all the flavours and stringy cheesiness of a pizza steaming inside.

Tiada Lagi Frasa PM Saya Jika Berminat – KPDNKK


Kementerian Perdagangan Dalam Negeri, Koperasi dan Kepenggunaan (KPDNKK) dalam satu kenyataan hari ini memberi amaran kepada peniaga atas talian dan mana-mana web perniagaan supaya memaparkan harga barangan yang dijual dan maklumat produk dengan jelas seperti apa yang pengguna ingin tahu, lapor NST.

Datuk Mohd Roslan Mahayudin, berkata tindakan ini adalah bagi melindungi hak pengguna Selain undang-undang sedia ada memaksa untuk peniaga meletakkan harga dan maklumat barangan sebelum transaksi dilakukan.

Penguatkuasa KPDNKK akan memburu mereka yang mengiklankan produk di atas talian tetapi tidak meletakkan tanda harga barang dijual samaada sengaja atau tidak.

Penggunaan frasa “PM saya, sis”, “Done PM” adalah antara kata kunci yang membuatkan penguatkuasa dapat mengesan kepada peniaga gagal memaparkan tanda harga.

Peniaga atas talian kini akan diperhatikan sama seperti yang dilakukan kepada peniaga konvesional yang lain dan hukuman akan dikenakan jika didapati melakukan kesalahan.

Peniaga perlu mengikut Akta Perlindungan Pengguna 1999 dengan perlu memaparkan maklumat seperti berikut:
  • Harga perlu dibayar
  • Nama penjual atau syarikat
  • Nombor Pendaftaran Perniagaan
  • Maklumat untuk dihubungi seperti nombor telefon atau alamat atau emel
  • Keterangan produk
  • Kaedah pembayaran
  • Terma dan syarat
  • Anggaran masa penghantaran

Individu yang gagal mematuhi lapan ketetapan yang disenaraikan oleh kementerian ini .

“Kami menguatkuasakan undang-undang ini setelah sekian lama memberi kelonggaran kepada peniaga untuk menyesuaikan diri”

“Kami mahu pengguna dilindungi dengan lebih baik dan hak mereka mesti dilindungi dan mereka mesti dapat membuat keputusan pembelian selepas mendapat segala dengan maklumat yang dipaparkan termasuk caj tersembunyi.”

“Jadi, jika seseorang menjual kucing, sebagai contoh, dia mesti memaparkan harga yang mahu dijual dan tidak lagi berkata PM jika berminat.”

“Kami tidak mempunyai masalah dengan peniaga e-dagang yang lain seperti Zalora atau Lazada kerana mereka masih patuh kepada undang-undang yang ditetapkan.” kata Roslan.

Beliau juga menyatakan sudah lama masa diberikan, sekarang semua peniaga atas talian perlu memaparkan tanda harga.

Roslan menggesa orang ramai supaya memberi bekerjasama dengan kementerian untuk memastikan para peniaga mematuhi undang-undang yang ditetapkan, jika ada terus hubungi bahagian penguatkuasaan di talian 1-800-886-800.
