The lettuce veggie very nice
One biggest typical in my evaluation for food is how the restaurant presenting and serving their food. As for Kungfu Bak Kut Teh the food they serving mainly on plate and bowl material in ceramic. the hygiene level 8/10 which is nearly perfect for me, they didn't use plastic for food and veggie to put on plate. chopstick and spoon soak in hot boiling water. I guess it's the right kind of food serving. Well maintain.

Bak Kut Teh won't complete without "Yiu Zar Kui" in hakka dialect.

Quantity of food serving didn't disappointing us, and averagely enough for 2 to 3 pax even we order food quantity for two person.

Steve Harvey Didn’t Ruin Miss Universe, Bad Design Did

Image from Charlamagne Tha God ‏@cthagod
Whether or not you believe the Miss Universe flub by Steve Harvey was hilarious or tragic (twitter certainly believes the former), one thing is for sure, a much better design could’ve saved a lot of heartache.

Welcome to the silliest and most sloppily arranged piece of design to hit a multi-million dollar, overproduced, international beauty pageant to date. This is like showing up in flip-flops to the Oscars. And with months in the making, and thousands of hours worth of prep time, how did this part get overlooked?

Let’s break it down.

There isn’t any logical order to this. Sizing, placement, and organizing is all over the place. Why is “Miss Universe” all the way to the right, but “Philippines” is centered below it? The actual winner, compositionally speaking, was essentially just cast off to the side. It looks like a footnote. And even though this document was created so that the names could be added later, they could have at least made the letters bigger. Microsoft Word can certainly adjust font sizes.

Redesigned Card

I took 20 minutes of my time to try and get this right. First, I’ve updated the brand to match. Just because this is simple and utilitarian doesn’t mean it can’t match the rest of the show. After that, I tackled the hierarchy. Now our “2015 Miss Universe” is now way more obvious. I’ve even managed to leave places to add the winner labels. Also, everything is easier to read and follow. Our elimination card is legible, clean, and focused. By using size and color, we’ve made this document a lot more easy to understand.

Maybe every elimination card couldn’t be this neat and pretty. But this is the main one. The Finale. This mistake isn’t Steve Harvey’s fault. The culprit here is, once again, bad design. Hey Steve, I got your back buddy.

Oceanus Waterfront Mall together with Eastern College Kota Kinabalu are proud to present the “Sunset Sonata by the Sea” event to be held on 19th December 2015 at 4pm. This 2-hour orchestral music performance, is a charity collaboration between the two establishments, in aid of Tolumis Care Centre based in Tuaran.

Mr. Victor Ng, the General Manager of Oceanus Waterfront Mall, mooted the idea upon witnessing the Eastern College string ensemble performed during an event in October this year. He believes that this group of talented musicians should be given a platform to showcase their musical talents. Boasted as the best venue to view the sunset in the heart of Kota Kinabalu, the event will be held at the Boardwalk of Oceanus Waterfront Mall to create awareness on the availability of an outdoor event space right in the heart of the city adjoining the South China Sea. This is in fact, how the event acquired its title “Sunset Sonata by the Sea”.

INTRODUCTION ON THE KK CITY WATERFRONT BOARDWALK

A SEAFRONT BOARDWALK & LIFESTYLE CENTRE

The KKCW Boardwalk is slated as a world class development on par with the best boardwalks and lifestyle centers in the world. It is envisioned to offer a new and vibrant urban street-space atmosphere in the heart of Kota Kinabalu. The Kota Kinabalu City Waterfront is a shopping center, hotel and condominium development that combines the traditional retail functions of a shopping mall with leisure amenities catered towards upscale consumers and tourists. It is designed to be a 'unique urban village' - a vibrant place where community takes shape and public life happens.

The purpose-built 2.1km Boardwalk, stretching from Anjung Senja at one end to the Hyatt Regency at the other, will complete this star attraction. Relentless effort and resources have been channeled into the design and management of the Boardwalk to maximize crowd retention and sustain this new lifestyle-retail DNA.

THE BEST PLACE TO VIEW THE SUNSET IN KOTA KINABALU

Imagine, watching a jazz singer drawing an audience, serenading to passing onlookers amidst a fresh breeze overlooking a spectacular sunset. The entire boardwalk will feature an urban maze with design that decorate the whole place with restaurants and stores lining an outdoor pedestrian street.

Eastern College Kota Kinabalu, located at Alamesra was established in 2004 and is fully owned by Infoteguh Sdn Bhd. It is one of the few colleges in town to offer a variety of education programs such as Diploma in Information Technology, Diploma in Business Management, Diploma in Music and Bachelor of Industrial Management in collaboration with Universiti Selangor (Unisel). The Diploma in Music ensemble consist of 70 members that vary in age ranging from 18 and above. The concert is coordinated by Mr. Aaron Eranza and conducted by Mr. Elvin Dainal.

Tolumis Care Centre, located at Jalan Pantai Dalit, Kg. Dungang, Tuaran, is home to 13 disabled persons (OKU) aged between 9 – 79 years.  It is owned and voluntarily managed by Madam Ching Mee Sapai.  Established in July 1997, their residents comes from as far as Sipitang, Kota Belud, Kudat, Tamparuli and Kuala Penyu.  Tolumis offers protection and care to these physically and intellectually disabled persons who could not gain admission to government or other privately-run welfare institution due to limited capacity.  Apart from monetary assistance, the centre is also in need of basic necessities such as clothing, food, supplements and medicines.
In this season of sharing and giving and part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, the management of Oceanus Waterfront Mall is selling concert tickets in aid of this humble home.
