Activities and Prizes galore at upcoming KKFBBF 2015

Exciting activities, contests and live shows will be featured in the upcoming 2nd Kota Kinabalu Food and Bakery Bake Fiesta (KKFBBF) 2015 held coming the 4th weekend on 24th to 26th April 2015 at Oceanus Waterfront Mall, Kota Kinabalu with a fun-filled food extravaganza and attractive prizes to be won for lucky visitors.

“April 2015 has been a wonderful month for food lovers, as there have been many food events organized in the city ”, says Alfred Allen, director of Eleventh Avenue Media Marketing and main organizer of the KKFBBF 2015.

“However, as the grand finale of food events for April, KKFBBF 2015 is the most important and anticipated of our city’s food celebrations, held in the very heart of Kota Kinabalu’s at a newly open shopping mall with the best sunset view Oceanus Waterfront Mall.

“What makes KKFBBF 2015 the most exciting and interesting event for April 2015 is its original concept and creativity as well as joy and passion of the organizing team to showcase the very best of food and bakery in KK city”, he added.

The event that supports and features home-grown talents of KK city’s finest food makers, producers and suppliers, as well as a host of international food and culinary experts will be filled with numerous exciting activities.

One of the ongoing activities during this Three-day food and bakery fiesta will be a Drawing & Colouring competition organized by the organizer itself. School kids will have a chance to let their creativity shine as they put their drawing skills, ideas and colouring talents to win special prizes proudly sponsored by KK Food Event Dot Com

Can your rice cooker make fruit juices? Can your juicer stir-fry vegetables? Or can your streamer make ice-cream? 

A live cooking demonstration using Thermomix – noted as ‘the world’s smartest cookware system’ will be one of the highlights of KKFBBF 2015. Special appearance Thermomix Chef Jenny together with the organizer Mr Alfred Allen takes the centre stage by sharing some delicious menu for you. 

The Termomix kitchen appliance is touted to be able to prepare lemonade in 3 seconds! Visitors will have a chance to see how healthy cooking can be done the easy way, with free cooking recipes distributed to early birds. 

All walk-in visitors to KKFBBF 2015 will have a chance to enjoy the innovation and nutritional goodness of ‘3-second fresh lemonade’ as well as to try free samples of tasty food and pastries offered daily during the event.

Last but not least, Pandan Coconut Drinking Competition will also be held; the fastest person who finishes the drinks will win attractive prizes sponsored by The Royal Coconut

Special ‘food tokens’ shall be used for the exciting games or activities throughout the 3-day event for the exciting activities that have been prepared exclusively for KKFBBF 2015. For a minimum purchase of RM20, a visitor is entitled to claim one (1) food token. Subsequently, a purchase of RM100 shall enable participants to claim five (5) food tokens. Bring the original receipt and redeem the food token stamp at KKFBBF information counter.

Not only will those at KKFBBF 2015 are also eligible to redeem one bottle of drinking water each from K2, on a first-come-first-serve basis, but visitors will also be entitled to register free for the lucky draw contest and have the chance to win some attractive food voucher/ gadget/ premium product prizes! The winner will announce at the end of the event through lucky draw.

The event marking the end of April and ushering in the season of Sabah’s Harvest festival in May, encourages food lovers, families and members of the public to participate in the atmosphere of a fun and upbeat food and bakery fiesta.
