Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. Tuesday, 13th February 2018 - Chinese New Year celebration is never complete without the partaking of the traditional auspicious salad dish known as "Yee Sang".
To kick start the 2018 Chinese New Year, Promenade Hotel Kota Kinabalu shared a customary tossing of "Yee Sang" session with members of the press led by the hotel's Managing Director - Tan Sri Yee Ming Seng before indulging in a tantalizing medley of Must-Try halal signature Dim Sums specially prepared by the hotel's Executive Chef Alvin Tan & his team of master Chef's at its Newly Refurbished Dynasty Chinese Restaurant.

The event earlier saw a simple ribbon-cutting ceremony by Tan Sri Yee Ming Seng to signify the soft opening of the Newly Refurbished Dynasty Restaurant - just in time to welcome 2018 Chinese New Year.

"Tables at Dynasty Restaurant were booked like hot cakes for the upcoming Chinese Reunion Dinner on Thursday, 15th February 2018. However, we're still accepting bookings and serving the same Reunion Dinner Set Menus at Bougainvilla Room (1st Floor), Promenade Hotel Kota Kinabalu" - Said Ms. Anita Chung, Group Director of Sales & Marketing.

Due to its past overwhelming response, Chef Alvin & his team will continue to serve this year's "Yee Sang" condiments with healthy Olive Oil to usher in Good HEALTH, Fortune, Luck, Wealth and Longevity throughout the year.
Besides the Healthy Prosperity "Yee Sang", which is available for takeaway until 2nd March 2018, the media were also given a chance to sample the Must-Try range of Dim Sums made available from the 1st to the 3rd of the Chinese New Year (i.e. 16th to 18th February 2018) from 7:30am - 2:30pm at the Rafflesia Grand Ballroom (1st Floor) Promenade Hotel Kota Kinabalu. Thereafter, Dim Sum will continue to be served at Dynasty Restaurant from 11:30am - 2:30pm on weekdays and 7:30am - 2:30pm on Saturday and Sunday.
