Crazy Mic Star Singing Competition 2026 Celebrates Talent and Community at Imago Shopping Mall

The atmosphere at Imago Shopping Mall recently came alive with music, energy and rising vocal talent during the Crazy Mic Star Singing Competition 2026, an event that brought together performers, supporters and music lovers for a vibrant day of entertainment.

A distinguished panel of judges lent their expertise to the competition, including TVB artist and singer Zev, singer, pianist and music educator Liz Wong, and special guest Sheela B. Their presence added both credibility and star quality, offering contestants valuable insights and encouragement throughout the programme.

In recognition of her contribution, Liz Wong was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation, honouring her role in supporting and nurturing emerging performers. The gesture reflected the organisers’ gratitude and the collaborative spirit that defined the event.

The competition was proudly sponsored by Dr. Yap Hai Yong, Founder and CEO of CZM Group, whose support played a key role in making the event possible. With strong backing from sponsors and organisers, the programme successfully created a platform for aspiring singers to showcase their passion and talent in a professional and encouraging environment.

Beyond the performances, the event also served as a lively gathering point for the community, reminding audiences that music has a unique way of bringing people together. Voices filled the space, applause echoed through the venue, and for a few hours, The Oval at Imago transformed into a small universe powered by rhythm, confidence and dreams taking their first steps onto the stage.

As Sabah continues to nurture creative talent and community-driven events, programmes like Crazy Mic Star demonstrate how collaboration, sponsorship and artistic passion can come together to create meaningful experiences for both performers and audiences alike.
