Promenade Hotel Kota Kinabalu, Promenade Hotel Tawau and Promenade Hotel Bintulu ushered in Ramadan Al-Mubarak by simultaneously hosting a "Majlis Berbuka Puasa with 24 Residents of Rumah Anak Yatim (RAY) - An orphanage in Tambunan, SABAH (Only in Promenade Hotel Kota Kinabalu) and members of media fraternity based in Kota Kinabalu, Tawau and Bintulu to signify the essence and true spirit of peace, forgiveness and togetherness a the forefront of this piety month of Ramadan
Diners will be given a 20% discount voucher on RM148 Buffet Sungkai when they leave after dinner/or at the Cashier Counter upon bill settlement. The 20% discount voucher will entitle them 20% off selling price (i.e. RM148 X 20% discount = RM118.40nett).
The 20% discount is based on per person per voucher only. I.e., If 5 persons dining & only 1 discount voucher presented, and then only 1 person gets the discount.
"Besides promoting the gathering of friends and acquaintances, this event honours the breath of 1 Malaysia by serving delectable Ramadan cuisines on top of the existing international buffet spread for all (especially our friends from RAY) to experience." said Ms. Anita Chung - the Promenade Hotels Group Director of Sales & Marketing.
After the Buka Puasa crowd leaves (normally around 8pm), there’s still another 2 hours left for the buffet. After 8pm, all new incoming diners are entitled to 40% discount off RM148nett (i.e. RM88.80nett)
Groups of 30pax and above only, they’re entitled to a further 10% discount off RM118nett (i.e. only pay RM106.20nett per pax).
Smiles were apparent as tummies were full with warm. scrumptious food; and joyful chatter filled the air as everyone mingled around.
Besides enjoying their stay at Promenade Hotel Kota Kinabalu, the evening saw each resident of RAY were given a complimentary bottle of assorted cookies and 'Duit Raya' by Promenade Hotel Kota Kinabalu, which was presented by Ms. Anita Chung.
Harvest festival (in Sabah) and Gawai Festival (in Sarawak) just ended and another celebration i this piety month of Ramadan came a calling for a feast on lavish spread of 'buka puasa' cuisine.
