On Sunday, 19 October 2014, the Patron’s Charity Cup will continue its tradition with a golf tournament in the morning at Sutera Harbour Golf & Country Club followed by a prize presentation gala dinner in the evening in the Grand Ballroom of The Magellan Sutera Resort.
The golf registration fees for the tournament are RM450.00nett per golfer (Members) and RM550.00nett per golfer (Non-Members) which is inclusive of one ticket to the prize presentation gala dinner. Registration deadline is on Monday, 13 October 2014 at 5pm.

There will also be a ‘blind auction’ at the foyer of the ballroom before the dinner where guests can bid for one of the 6 exclusive items which includes four photographs by the the Head of State His Excellency Tun Datuk Seri Panglima Dr Haji Juhar bin Datuk Haji Mahiruddin and 2 cruise packages sponsored by Star Cruises Travel Services (M) Sdn. Bhd. Guests who are interested in any of these items can submit their sealed bids to the committee and the highest bidder will be announced during the dinner.
Proceeds from this event including the ‘blind auction’ will be donated to the Nur Jauhar Foundation. The Foundation was established in the early 2012 by the 10th Head of State Sabah, His Excellency Tun and his consort YAB Toh Puan Datuk Seri Panglima Hajah Norlidah binti Tan Sri Datuk R.M. Jasni with the objective of helping those in need regardless of their background.
Since its establishment, Nur Jauhar Foundation has reached out to the Beaufort flash flood victims and as far as Selangor, where aids were given to single mothers who are from Sabah and are based in West Malaysia. Their latest relief effort was at Manjoi, Perak where Toh Puan personally visited and donated to the Al-Baraqah School which was founded and established by Ustaz Kazim.
We hope that through this event, the proceeds collected will assist the Nur Jauhar Foundation to carry out more humanitarian work in the future.
