Sabah Oil & Gas Conference & Exhibition (SOGCE) is the only oil and gas conference and exhibition of its kind in Sabah. SOGCE provides a one-stop centre for suppliers of technologies, experts in the oil and gas industry together with policy makers to discuss the challenges and solutions, charting the way forward in the promotion of the oil and gas industry in Sabah.
SOGCE is created to assist the state government in promoting the Oil and Gas Industry in Sabah. SOGCE’s overall purpose is to explore and participate in discussions on the “opportunities and growth in the Sabah oil and gas industry”
.
SOGCE aims to attract international and domestic oil and gas executives from various oil and gas companies local and international. Officials from Sabah government, national and international energy companies across the entire supply chain convene at SOGCE to share innovative technologies, conduct business and engage in complex and pivotal discussions aimed to shape the future of Sabah’s oil and gas industry.
Since its inception in 2012, SOGCE has garnered support and partnerships from the Sabah State Government, Sabah Oil and Gas Development Corporation as well as the nation’s major oil and g as companies, Petronas and Shell.
SOGCE has also attracted and benefitted more than 300 exhibiting companies (Petronas, Shell, Murphy, Repsol, Technip, Halliburton, SIRIM, Sabah International Petroleum, UMW Oil and Gas, MMHE, SEDCO, Aker Solutions, Asian Supply Base, SSTC, Sabah Oil and Gas Development Corporation, KNM Petrosab Engineering, TAS Academy, Sabah Ports Sdn Bhd).
The conference has seen more than 1,200 conference delegates (98% from oil and gas companies from UK, Philippines, USA, Netherlands, Australia, Singapore and Malaysia). SOGCE has attracted 15,000 professional visitors from Malaysia and other countries in the past six years.
SOGCE is organized across two days of full day conference and exhibition. This year, SOGCE will be held on the 10th and 11th July 2019 at Grand Ballroom, Magellan Sutera Harbour Resort, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia.
