KOTA KINABALU, MALAYSIA (18 October 2017) – Deepavali is an important festival for the people of the Hindu religion. It is well known as “the festival of light” and is celebrated in all parts of our country.
To celebrate the festival of light, Hyatt Regency Kinabalu presented a special Deepavali dinner buffet at Tanjung Ria Kitchen. Sous Chef Govind Sanwal, who is originally from Dehli, took the diners on a journey to discover what Indian cuisine is all about. With a great knowledge of herbs and spices, Govind prepared an exquisite and mouth-watering menu to fulfil diners’ appetites.
Spiced aromas and delicious flavors were in abundance as the highlights of the buffet included puri bhaji, achari jhinga, makai pakoras, paneer chatpata and kashmiri pulao.
This year, Hyatt Regency Kinabalu brought people together to create stronger bonds between the multicultural people in our country. The spirit of togetherness can be seen on customers’ faces, which is in line with Hyatt’s trademark “We Care for People So They Can Be Their Best”.
