Chef Pu Ming Song (蒲明松) a 30 years old chef with more than 10 years of experience in Chinese cuisine specialised in Sichuan dishes started his career in 2003-2005 at 遂宁市遂州宾馆 (Suining Hotel), then as Head of Sichuan Kitchen at Shanghai Hong Yu Pen (上海红鱼盆大酒店) Restaurant in 2006 – 2008.

Not longafter that, he was appointed as Executive Sous Chef (川厨总监) in 2009-2012 at Dangji Hotspring Resort,Tangshan Town, Nanjing(南京市汤山镇大吉温泉度假村)and in year 2013-2015 worked as Executive Chef of Lanzhou Lijing Hotel (兰州市丽景大酒店).

Sichuan food is a style of Chinese cooking originating from Sichuan province in southwestern China. It has bold flavours, mainly the spiciness resulting from generous use of garlic and chili peppers and the unique flavour of the Sichuan pepper. Among the dishes featured during the food promotion are Mapo Tofu, Steamed Chicken with Chilli Sauce, Sichuan Style Grilled Lamb Chop, Steamed Fish Slice with Twin Pepper, Sour Spicy Soup, Glutinous Rice Balls with Broccoli and many more.

In addition to the Sichuan food promotion, E West will be organizing SPICY FOOD CHALLENGE on 15 December 2016 at 4:30pm, targeting at least 20 diners with a minimum participating fee or free participants for diners who spend at the restaurant.The challenge will be, all participants need to finish off selected Sichuan dishes as fast as they can and win some attractive prizes from E West Restaurant.
The winners will get F&B cash vouchers from the managementE West Restaurant established since in the 90s in Luyang and moved to a new building in year 2014 just next to the old building.
