April is a month for food celebration - as food lovers and bakery aficionados can now indulge in even more sumptuous delights at the upcoming 2nd Edition of Kota Kinabalu Food and Bakery Bake Fiesta (KKKBBF) held on 24-26 April 2015 at Oceanus Waterfront Mall, Kota Kinabalu.

As our city grew, so did the population. People from different backgrounds and origins who travelled to KK and fell in love with our city life here, brought along their own staple foods, which can now be enjoyed by everyone.Therefore the kind of food featured in Kota Kinabalu Food Bakery Bake Fiesta (KKFBBF) is in fact, a showcase of the variety of delicious food in KK.

KKFBBF 2015 offers no gimmicks or over-the-top ideas for its food experience, but purely is a happy celebration of KK lifestyle, cuisine and bakery – just the way that KK city folks like it. However we do have exciting activities such as Wheel of foodie, guess the weight of the Cake, Candy Grab, Pandan coconut drinking competition, Fruits carving competition, Live cooking demonstrations, food sampling, Lucky draw and children’s colouring contest awaiting for visitors

CIG Group jointly together with Teddy ‘N’ Me café will demonstrate its latte art show an activity not to be miss. Every purchase of RM20.00 in a single or combine receipt, visitor can redeem one Food Token to be use as passes for the activity and games too.

We hope that Sabahans, fellow Malaysians, our guests from other countries will all come to savour the exciting array of dishes, cakes, pastries and other foods that will be featured at the food stations by Kota Kinabalu’s best food outlets and suppliers. Entrance is free, the fiesta start from 10:00am to 9:00pm, we encourage the public to join us; this would be a great occasion to have a weekend family day.

KK Food & Bakery Bake Fiesta 2nd Edition 2015 is organize by Eleventh Avenue Media Marketing, it’s founder creative & executive Director Mr Alfred Allen Lim (林涯伦) adding that this 2nd edition of KK Food & Bakery Bake Fiesta is fully self-funded event, They been preparing almost six months for this event and hope the event can bring good benefit not only to exhibitor but also create more awareness for Kota Kinabalu City. Mr Alfred Allen wishes to mention that this event is fully supported by Dewan Bandaraya Kota Kinabalu, Sri Pelancongan and also Sabah Tourism Board. KK Food & Bakery Bake Fiesta team paying a courtesy visit to The Mayor Of Kota Kinabalu City, Datuk Abidin Madingkir. The visit heading by Mr Alfred Allen Ginsos (Creative / Executive Director of Eleventh Avenue Media Marketing) together with their team meeting up with the mayor for about 1 hour, During the session Mr Alfred Allen Ginsos pointing out the purpose of the Food Fiesta and how the platform event can eventually build up brand awareness not only to the tourism and also to the local interest.

Mr Alfred Allen Ginsos mentions up to date more than 40 exhibitors and brand participate in the KK Food & Bakery Bake Fiesta 2^nd Edition 2015. This time around the organiser was excited to mention of the full support for the local business runner especially the bumiputra vendors who promoting and producing their goods through home base,  Eleventh Avenue Media Marketing fully support the local business small and medium company, they create food kiosk especially dedicated to them with a very affordable participant fees,

Exciting activities, contests and live shows will be featured in the upcoming 2nd Kota Kinabalu Food and Bakery Bake Fiesta (KKFBBF) 2015 held coming the 4th weekend on 24th to 26th April 2015 at Oceanus Waterfront Mall, Kota Kinabalu with a fun-filled food extravaganza and attractive prizes to be won for lucky visitors.

“April 2015 has been a wonderful month for food lovers, as there have been many food events organized in the city ”, says Alfred Allen, director of Eleventh Avenue Media Marketing and main organizer of the KKFBBF 2015.

“However, as the grand finale of food events for April, KKFBBF 2015 is the most important and anticipated of our city’s food celebrations, held in the very heart of Kota Kinabalu’s at a newly open shopping mall with the best sunset view Oceanus Waterfront Mall.

A live cooking demonstration using Thermomix – noted as ‘the world’s smartest cookware system’ will be one of the highlights of KKFBBF 2015. Special appearance Thermomix Chef Jenny together with the organizer Mr Alfred Allen takes the centre stage by sharing some delicious menu for you. 

The Termomix kitchen appliance is touted to be able to prepare lemonade in 3 seconds! Visitors will have a chance to see how healthy cooking can be done the easy way, with free cooking recipes distributed to early birds. 

All walk-in visitors to KKFBBF 2015 will have a chance to enjoy the innovation and nutritional goodness of ‘3-second fresh lemonade’ as well as to try free samples of tasty food and pastries offered daily during the event.

Last but not least, Pandan Coconut Drinking Competition will also be held; the fastest person who finishes the drinks will win attractive prizes sponsored by The Royal Coconut

Special ‘food tokens’ shall be used for the exciting games or activities throughout the 3-day event for the exciting activities that have been prepared exclusively for KKFBBF 2015. For a minimum purchase of RM20, a visitor is entitled to claim one (1) food token. Subsequently, a purchase of RM100 shall enable participants to claim five (5) food tokens. Bring the original receipt and redeem the food token stamp at KKFBBF information counter.

Not only will those at KKFBBF 2015 are also eligible to redeem one bottle of drinking water each from K2, on a first-come-first-serve basis, but visitors will also be entitled to register free for the lucky draw contest and have the chance to win some attractive food voucher/ gadget/ premium product prizes! The winner will announce at the end of the event through lucky draw.
