The Sutera Harbour Resort & Winecellars Gourmet Fest
2014 is coming your way this year for the 2nd time after a successful launch
last year.
We are proud to
announce that this event is happening from May 6 to 11, 2014 and promises to be
a prestigious 6-days celebration of gastronomical delights, superb wines and
fascinating Host Night dinners.
At this year’s
festival, we have three guest Chefs who are set to impress you with their own
creative gourmet menus.
The three visiting chefs are :
CHEF RENÉ MATHIEU
The Michelin Star Chef since 2012 and elected Luxembourg’s Chef of the Year 2010 by the Gault Millau guide was born in Laroche in the Ardenne area of Belgium. At present, he is based at the Château de Bourglinster, the fairytale landmark of Luxembourg. His innovative and beautiful creations highlighting natural flavours of his cuisine are sure to have you indulge into a world-class dining experience.

CHEF AUSTEN ONG
The F&B Director of The Seafood International Market & Restaurant Pte Ltd, Singapore brings to the festival his 33 years long experience in cooking. As the World Culinary Champion, his career is generously peppered with success and his dishes have wowed the hearts of diners worldwide. With many other awards, accolades and recognition under his belt, his culinary style remains grounded in simplicity and inspires tastes that are unique in their very own right.

Born into a Nyonya family in Taiping, Perak, he has authored 14 successful Nyonya cookbooks. His grandmother, mother and aunties played a major role in providing him valuable tips on Nyonya cooking and kuih-making. The true blooded Northern-Baba celebrity chef is much sought after not only for his skills in cooking, but his vast experience and deep knowledge in food that provides a strong foundation for his ability to create.
